Man have I been looking for a forum exactly like this for some time now. Well here I AM!. I'm out of Otis in the Berkshires, just starting to get into this whole hiking thing, and have done dozens of day hikes (Did the first section of the AT from CT border to the summit of Race MTN). Hopefully you'll see me around the forum and happy hiking!

Welcome! Being the holidays/winter season, you'll find the board to be pretty dead for the time being. But I've found it to be a great resource once the spring gets underway

sister in law has all the pictures...been trying to get her to put them on a disc for me but with no luck. I loved the hike, did a little over 10 miles that day on the AT as we were planning on section hiking the MA part of the AT over the summer, only got that one piece done haha. But with thru hiking the AT in the distant future (waitin on my cousin to graduate high school)I enjoyed doin Mt. Race a whole lot, gave me my first taste of life on the AT. I'll try and get some pics and be sure to put them up as soon as I get them.

It’s all good.
I work well over full time, so living off other peoples hikes, while I wait to get out to the wild again, is the only thing keeping me going.
I guess Im a parasite on the hiking trails of life.
If you get the pictures, share them.
Happy Trails.
