Hiked the southern most portion of the AT in Massachusetts in the beginning of the summer. Went from just below Sheffield, MA in CT and hiked north to as far as Mt. Race, somewhere around 10 miles total distance.

Great pictures

Race falls is an impressive area. I think I could visit that place 100 times.

Looks like some nice views for the top of Race.

Was that Bear Mountain or MT Everett in your summit pictures?

Gr8 pics, Jamie. Congrats on your first AT Blaze, too! That's a nice area. I was in that area April '09 on Easter weekend with my lady, parked at that same location. We went over Bear Mtn & stayed at Riga Shelter. A bit colder then, but lots of fun. Looking forward to going through there summer '10. Glad you enjoyed yourself.
