Skied a section of the Tully trail in Royalston Ma yesterday
http://www.thetruste...ully-trail.html
In areas that were open there was plenty of snow 8"-10", but under the hemlocks there was little to none.
Sections of the trail were constructed for mountain biking which made for some interesting turns. <_< At least they had bridges over the brooks
As you might guess from the title, my major recreation so far this winter has been sitting on the couch, drinking beer, eating pizza, and watching basketball so skiing 7 1/2 miles of mountain bike single track kicked my ass

The pint stop on the way home was made at The Blind Pig in Athol

Very tasty sandwiches and all the tap beers, except Guiness and PBR, were New England made.
The Element Dark Matter is a most excellent black lager made by a tiny brewery in Millers Falls. Can't recommend this beer enough

Nothing quite like crashing back home after a hearty romp in the woods!

I did the pizza and beer workout last night. This morning I took a walk along the Cape Cod Canal (36 degress, but about a 15 to 20 knot wind). I don't think I worked off much of that pizza, but it made me feel good about it.
