My son and I spent the afternoon Sunday hiking around Myles Standish State Forest. There was very little activity, no other hikers, a couple of bike riders and some horseback riders – pretty quiet.
We brought some snacks and stopped for lunch. Some trails near any of the several ponds are under water and some of the roads that travel near water are also flooded. As of Sunday it was possible to drive slowly through the overflow – the deepest water on the road that we ran into was about 6 inches. The next couple of days of rain could close a road or two in there until it recedes.

I can only imagine what those trails look like now with all this rain we've been getting for the past 36+ hours
