Too Much Rain.... The result of 9" of rain in 36 hours Rate Topic: -----

The pictures in the news can not put into words how bad it is around here. Water in Warwick mall was 5 feet deep at some spots. The rivers' usual course would be located in the lower left hand corner of the photo, running under what is left of that bridge. The Pawtuxet River flood stage is 9.0 feet, the river crested at 21 feet. Worst flooding in hundreds of years.

Sorry to hear. It's crazy in some places, I'm sure everyone knows someone affected, if not from this storm, then from the rain last week.

Took a trip down to Haxton's last week and the Pawtuxet was still high then from the last storm
Even stopped to look

We had 6.5" at my house and the local river (the Quinebaug) just barely made it into the trees, although down stream (below the Moosup I think) was a different story.

Reminds me of when western Maine got flooded and my siblings and I went canoeing around the camps by the lakes. It definitely was bizarre to go canoeing deep into the woods.
