On the first Earthday 40 years ago, we cleaned up the area where we all partied. That place out in the woods and the end of deadend.
There were mountains of trash, not only from us partiers, but it was a dumping ground for those to lazy to drive to the town dump.
Sadly this spot is now an industrial park so it's still trashed, just in a different way.

I'll celebrate Earthday as I do most every year by rebuilding my compost bins and then a little fishing with trash bag in hand
