Hey, I live down by Portsmouth and I'm wondering about any hikes around this area that are good for dogs.

Boyfriend has Italian greyhound that loves to hike. We took her to mount major which is in alton bay. Couple hour hike. She had no problems.

What kind of dog do you have?

You might try hiking the Wapack. Only part you can't have dogs is from the Park parking lot to the top. But there's no restrictions at all of you go to the northern terminus and hike North Pack, which is the better hike I think. You can also park right across the street from the Park HQ at Pack and hike south without problem, that is is an easier hike I would think for dogs.
