A couple weeks ago my wife and I hiked Camels Hump and Mansfield. These two mountains completed all of the 4000 footers in New England. :dancing-banana:

Now we are working on the 52 with a view list in NH.

Good for you my friend. I'm sure a lot of pain and sweat went into finishing that list.

How long did it take you to finsh the list?

We started in 2002. The first hike was August 17th. It was about 95 degrees and very humid. We hiked up the Liberty Spring trail to the campsite. I thought I was going to die. We were rookies, I was carrying about 55lbs worth of gear, my wife about 30lbs. We were about 50 yards from the campsite (not knowing how much further we had to go) and I took my pack off. I was shaking and I drank all my water. Luckily my wife still had some left. I drank almost all of hers then about 45 minutes later we continued. We setup camp, rested some more then went to the summit. WOW what a view. That view is what drove me. I can honestly say, if there wasn't a view that day, I might not have continued hiking.

Random. First time on here in a few days. Two buddies and I just decided to hike from Camel's Hump to Mansfield over Labor Day weekend (about 30 miles). Any insight? I know you didn't hike this route but figured I'd ask
