I'm planning on hiking the Presidential this weekend over 2 days to take it all in. Since this is sort of a last minute thing does anyone have any suggestions on where to set up camp? Every posting I have seen on it has been hiked in 1 day.

Difficult in terms of established campsites as those are on both ends of the traverse (Crag Camp in NO.Presies; Nauman Tentsite near Mitzpah Hut in SO. Pres). Would have to stealth camp below treeline. I have heard of people camping off of Edmands Path but don't have any specific site recommendations. Anything within backcountry guidelines. USFS rules

Maybe break it up into 3 days; camp at Crag Camp and hit the northerns then travel to Mitzpah/Nauman and then out the next day. Or a long day from start to Nauman, out the next. Hope this helps.
