I didn't see any posts specifically about the Pemi Loop so I thought I would post. The Pemi Loop starts at Lincoln Woods, follows the Osseo Trail, Franconia Ridge Trail, Twinway, Bondcliff, and Wilderness Trail before ending back at Lincoln Woods. The basic loop is 31.5 miles but can be slightly longer with detours to 4000 footers near the loop. The loop hits the following 4000 footers in this order: Flume, Liberty, Lincoln, Lafayette, Garfield, South Twin, Bond, and Bondcliff. Also accessible from the loop are: Galehead (.5 miles from loop), North Twin and Zealand (both 1.3 miles from loop), and West Bond (.5 miles from loop. Official overnight spots include Liberty Springs, Garfield, and Guyot Campsites with Galehead Hut along the trail and Greenleaf just over a mile from the trail. The low point on this loop is around 3400' apart from the start and finish of the loop. This can be done as a long day hike but 3 days would probably be a comfortable pace. I hiked it in two days but hit all of the 4000 foot side trails which made for over 39 miles. There is over 9000' of elevation gain, close to 11000' if you climb all the 4000 footers. Water is available at all campsites and huts as well as Garfield Pond. This is one scenic loop with plenty of opportunity for alpine terrain and far flung views. Every 4000 footer in NH is visible at some point with exception of the Carter-Moriah-Wildcats.

Great post.
I have done the full loop, but I've done the Wilderness trail a bunch of times. It's decent, aside from the stretch that runs along the old train bed. I swear that section goes on for what seems like forever. Long stretch of basically straight trail... get to the end, turn... another looooong stretch of boring straight trail... repeat.
