Ugh. Weather for both here and in Jaffrey on Saturday looks like it's going to be horrendous. I'll probably postpone the trip :( hopefully we can go next weekend sometime! I am going to the Bruins game Saturday night though, so there's at least something to look forward to.

Monadnock second attempt is planned for this Saturday, looks like the weather is going to be nice! ::fingers crossed::

Heading up tomorrow for Monadnock (FINALLY), can't wait! Looks like the weather will be perfect!

Enjoy, I'm more than a little jealous. I HAVE TO get some yard work done, I'll be back in the hills soon enough though.

It was fantastic, if not chilly at the top! (when is it not, lol) We went up the old halfway house trail and some of the other trails and hit Monte Rosa on the way up and Bald Rock on the way down. I'd never hiked that side of the mountain before, liked it! It spit rain on us like twice, other than that it was a great day. I was also really happy because I've started working out a lot and running over the last few months, and could really feel how the increased cardio endurance helped me hiking - I'm usually a very slow hiker and I had a much easier time this weekend.
