Is it me or is spring time around here abnormally windy over the past couple of years? I'm bummed because I actually had time (for once)to hit some local ponds this past Sunday to get some early season fishing in, but man the wind was just relentless! I thought around lunch time I was going to catch a break but it was only the calm before the storm. Early afternoon saw 20-25 knot winds with gusts over 35. Being as early as it is in the season with water temps in the low 40's I figured it was going to be more aggravation than anything, so the yak stayed dry.

End rant. :angry2:

I guess i had not given it much thought, but now that you mention it... yeah, it has.

Maybe the upshot will be that the mud will dry a little faster?
