Hey everybody, I've decided to hike the 48 4k footers and was wondering what was the best way to plan out the hikes. Are there some that I should save until the end? What were your favorites?
So far I've completed Washington, Lafayette and Lincoln. I'm not sure what to hit up next.
Any advice would be appreciated!

Unless you have a serious time constraint, I would advise against over planning, relax and enjoy the process. If you planned to climb Adams on a certain day and find yourself in the mountains and the weather is bad that day, be spontaneous, climb a lesser peak and save Adams for a better day, you won't be disappointed. There is no wrong or right way to do it.

Thanks and you're right about not over planning. Hiking is about gettin out and having fun and relaxing!
I don't really have a time restraint, Its just that I don't know how long I will be living in NH and have this opportunity again.
I'm also using these day hikes as part of my get in shape routine. So I'm trying do some trips a couple times a month.

I've got 15 of the 48 done so far and pretty much have the rest of the hikes I need to finish planned out (approximate routes and which peaks in each trip). From there I pick which hike I think will work out as I get closer to the date I actually hike. It has worked good so far letting me work with the weather (south peaks can be different than north peaks in the same day), how much driving I feel like doing to get to the mountains, and any other factors. If I know it will be a great day I can do a hike I have been looking forward to and enjoy it that much more. I have tried to plan out what hikes I want to do when previously, and it seems that half the time I change which mountains I am going to for one reason or another. So I say to just hike which mountains you are in the mood for when you get closer to the day you plan on hiking.
