Since the talk is short about hiking lately, I decided to post some news about this past weekend.
Saturday was unbeleivable out, so I started out on the trail early in the morning to beat the crowds. There is one area I've never been on in the Blue Hills, so I mapped out a day of hiking there. The weather was amazing, and the crowds were minimal. Also, I picked up 3 geocaches along the way!

I then got to a purgatory that wasn't even marked on the reservation's map. It was incredible! There were 2 trails that wound up to the top, but that's no fun! I decided to use some of my newly acquired rock scaling skills haha.

Overall a great trip and the link below on my signature will forward you to all my hiking pics. Enjoy!

Actually it wasn't bad at all. Some shaded parts were a little icy, but most of it was perfect. It reached a high of 55, so I can't complain about that.

was that in the Quincy Quarries area? I've frequently enjoyed watching the rock climbers scaling those cliffs. I'm not into the technical stuff myself but have enjoyed hiking around the areas that I could get to

Yea exactly, It's right near the old quarries. Just outside the Granite Links Country Club in Quincy.
