After a fairly successful night at our house with some friends... till 3am...
Posted Image

Bobelle, myself, and the peeps from the night before went out for a MUCH needed brekky...
Posted Image

After a brief rest on the couch, it became clear that is was time to get out.
Posted Image

One major thing was missing, we needed coffee. Off we went to the local bakery for the best cup in town!
Posted Image

While she placed the order, I browsed around and found myself asking; Who the hell names these things? I mean really...
Posted Image

Despite the bewildering pastry titles, we accomplished our goal. We had coffee!

Time to hit the highway...
Posted Image

Then hit another highway...
Posted Image

Off the exit, I had no choice but to admire the Velvet-Elvis towel collection. If I only had time to stop and shop... erm, not
Posted Image

Ahh... salt marsh! Getting close now!
Posted Image

Then, just when the excitement was really building, i see the first sign of a true nature experience - The nuclear power plant *insert crickets chirping*

Can't you just smell the salt air?
Posted Image

Ahh, the first view of the ocean. Damn, that's a crap load of water. And to think, it's just the top.
Posted Image

Figured I'd take a picture of my next house. By the way I'll be taking donations to get the thirty jillion dollars to buy it. :)
Posted Image

We finally got out for a second to smell the salty coffee-scented air.
Posted Image

I stood on this wall and took it in for while. I was feeling great despite the lingering foggy "had to much fun last night" head.

Actually, the foggy head was going away, but so was the coffee... uh oh

Route 1A is gorgeous, no two ways about it

Low tide in Rye.
Posted Image

We've been in the car for bit and it was time to find a place to chill. Now if we can just get out there without taking a digger on the rocks.
Posted Image

No digger taken, time for the chill. This place was amazing!

Feeling refreshed, we headed up the road a bit and pulled into the Odiorne Point parking lot. I've driven by so many times and only stopped in once ages ago, may as well go in and check it out.
Posted Image

Bobelle mentioned that one of these rocks looks like a pile of sh*t. I'll let you guess what one. ;)
Posted Image

This place was a little soupy with melting snow, but the view was killer none the less. I noticed there was a building down the beach...
Posted Image

We headed over..
Posted Image

Turned out to be a science center. I admit it, I'm a geek... we headed in.

This place has crabs! (insert sixth grade joke)
Posted Image

I totally dug this little guy. He follow me around as I walked.
Posted Image

Unlike this bastaahd who was too good for all of us and sunk back into the corner
Posted Image

Did you know you can chop these things up and they will continue to grow and replace the lost limbs? I wanted to test it out, but I don't think the kids that were running round would understand the scientific value of the actions - nor would the people running the tanks. ;)
Posted Image

This guy was huge. It towered over me. Go down in the water in that thing? No friggin thanks...

After the tour of the science building, we headed out. I always thought it was cool that there is still a wooden bridge in use.
Posted Image

Further up we passed the Wentworth by the Sea. Man, wasn't his thing a huge dilapidated old building like five years ago? I remember it being creepy as hell.
Posted Image

Speaking of creep as hell... What is this place? I heard it was an old mental hospital. Whatever it is, I want to go in and poke around in there
Posted Image

Stopped, and checked out the swan-duck things..
Posted Image

Got into town and pulled into Prescott Park. Look at this friggin metal monstrosity.

Naturally, by now we were feeling a little hungry. Time to go downtown and find some grub
Posted Image

Parking in Portsmouth is a nightmare. Fortunately Bobelle has a keen eye and spotted this car leaving, right in the center of town. Huge score...
Posted Image

Mission almost accomplished. Just... a.. few .. more.. steps..
Posted Image

Made it! Perfect ending, to a killer day...

The End
