We went to climb Mt. Wachusett this weekend and ventured off the trail a bit to do some trailblazing. Along the way we ran into numerous large rock faces which we decided to scale. It was awesome, though pretty unsafe :nuts:

pretty cool! What area were you in? Wachusett's a surprisingly cool mountain!

Yea, you'd be surprised on the challenging hikes you can find there too. I'd recommend going during non-ski season because alot of the trails pass over the ski trails.

I followed the mid-state trial up and over this time, great hike!

What I liked a lot about that trail is the surprisingly great view. You can see Boston and Mt. Manadnock (check spelling) in the same peripheral which I thought was pretty cool and a nice payoff for the climb up.
