Anyone know of some nice camping areas that I can use over Memorial Day weekend? Im looking to stay in Mass or Southern NH. Also, it can either be a drive-up campsite or a backpacking site no more than an hours hike in.

If its a drive-up campsite, Id prefer it to be as secluded as possible. I hate being within an arms length of another persons tent, or even worse, RV.

Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

It's not in MA, in fact it is a pretty long haul, but if you are looking for a killer spot you should check out:

Maine Wilderness Camps

They have a wilderness site that you need a boat to get to. It's on a little peninsula across the lake. If you rent a boat, you can wake up and ride around and check out the eagles. Very, very nice...

Now I want to go there..

As far as close by, you could find a spot in Pawtuckaway, but it's probably going to be very busy and not very secluded. I camped on horse island one year during the week and there were no others around... It was nice, right on the water, and pretty secluded.

You might want to think about Vermont also.
The National Forest campgrounds don't get nearly the pressure the White Mtn. ones do. There are plenty of free campsites also, but ones like Grout Pond can be a bit of a zoo.
Vermont State Park campgrounds are real nice for the most part, but some are a little "tight" for my taste. You might like Coolidge State Park. It's more rustic than most and they have a full section of lean-to sites.

Great, thanks for the input.

Seems like my list of places to visit keeps growing everyday.
