Can anyone recommend locations where I'll be welcome to use a wireless connection without renting a hotel room. Initially I'll be in the Conway/Jackson area.

I will ask around, there must be a coffee shop, or library or something you can use...

The MET definitely has high speed, but I'm not sure they're wireless yet. They have a couple of machines set up.

Dood, I hear ya. I'm a web developer for some big international companies. I don't like to admit it, but I like to be available if anything crashed while I'm out of the office...

Actually, it's a job -- it's not fun to HAVE to check in to make sure everything's running. It is nice that I can go be out in the boonies and still do my job -- hell, it's paying for the trip 8J)

They have wifi at the McDonalds near my apartment. Not to say it'll be at all the MickeyD's, but I thought that was pretty neat. You really can't get away from the internet these days.
