In years of hiking, I’ve never watched the sun set or rise from a mountain summit. I’m looking for a good overnight trip where I’ll be able to set up camp that has access to a clear summit. Any suggestions?

Which area of New England were you looking for?

Mt. Liberty in Lincoln, New Hampshire is a good option. The Liberty Springs Campsite is not too far from the summit.

I'm in NH, Liberty has access to Mount Flume too right? I might plan on doing that soon. Thanks for the suggestion.

Flume is about a mile away from Mt Liberty.
