Heard about this board on another site. Having access to local intel is always good. :)

I live in CT. Have about 38 years of BPing experience and still learning. I mostly hike in VT but I've done trails in MA, CT, VT and NH. I've started doing at least one big trip out to the Rockies every couple of years. Took up kayaking this year and loved it.

With my children grown I find that I have more time for more weekend trips. Just bought my wife her first pack and she is going to give it a try.

Well that's the 10,000 ft over view. Hello to all.

Hi Fox
Glad you could make it
I live in Connecticut's quiet corner, and I enjoy a little kayaking now and then myself
I'm not a nut about it or anything.....I haven't been out since yesterday

Howdy Fox,

Welcome aboard. Pretty cool crew we have growing over here. Very laid-back atmosphere.

( Just be careful of Dudley. He's a little  )

Cheers!

Wecome to the forum.

Just think of what could have happened.
They could have taken your truck.
They could have left the keys and taken everything else in the truck.
They could have kept the keys.
The list goes on and on.

But its always good to hear there are still a few good people out there.
And I really think most hikers are good people.

Thanks for the welcomes, folks.

Dudley - Got a good friend lives up in the quiet corner of the state. Nice up there. I don't get over that way enough.
