Goin' To Newport Options?

Am going to R.I. to visit and was wondering about a possible walk/hike. I actually lived there when I was a Navy brat but wasn't into hiking then. I've walked/hiked around Ft. Adams, Cliff Walk, and have even been through the bird sanctuary near 2nd Beach in Middletown. Is that all there is or am I missing something? Oh yeah, I should probably steer clear of Brick Alley in Newport....

Easy answer to this one (besides the Cliff Walk)
Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge
(maybe that's the bird sanctuary you're thinking about)
Beavertail State Park in Jamestown is cool too, though not as large

Yup, that's the same one. Still worth going and checking out again.I'll have to find some info on the other one too. I've never heard of it. Thanks, Dudley.

My wife and I were in Newport last weekend. What a great city. We did the Cliff Walk starting at the causeway going out to the last mansion. This hike/stroll took us about 2 1/2 hours. The hike was very easy with great views, but it was very cold with the wind coming off the ocean.
