I started on the Mountain trail and then took the Round Pond trail towards North Peak:

These are from the first part of the trail that goes along a small pond:

There were tons of little frogs on the trail hopping out of my way, one of which I caught:

Foundations from an old farmstead. Supposedly the land was never that good for farming:

The north peak is about 1000ft high. From there you can see the south peak with has a fire tower on it.

I guess I was looking more tired than I felt:

This was quite a sight. At first it looked like there was something wrong with the snake, then I realized he was just having a frog for dinner (warning, violent images):

Some neat sights along the way:
-I came across this twisted tree that I thought deserved a picture.
-There is a whole field of boulders left by an ice age glacier.
-I passed many swamps, which smelled simply horrible.
This is a nice view of one of the lakes. There were some men fishing on the other side and I could hear them talking as if they were next to me:

I then hiked up the south peak (900ft - seen previously) and climbed the fire tower to take pictures. You can see the lake where I would later go for a swim:

There were hummingbird feeders on the tower and I guess it was feeding time:

There were also a number of yellow birds near the tower (sorry, I don't know what they're called).
Here I am midway through the hike (photo courtesy of a nearby rock):

I ran the last 2.5 miles (including up and down south peak) just to get a bit more of a workout, but I was a little too exuberant on the way down the second hill and twisted my ankle. I don't think it's a sprain but I'm taking it easy for a few days. I did about 8 miles in total and afterwards drove to the beach area and jumped in the lake to wash off the sweat and the insect repellent (which was necessary due to the high number of deer flies and mosquitos but not as effective as i would have liked).
I hope you enjoy the pictures. I would recommend this park for a morning or afternoon outing. Thanks again for the tip, Andrew.
