I believe it's the Mattabesett-Metacomet-Monadnock ...
The Mattabesett trail which begins in hanging hills south-central CT, joins with the M-M trail near Springfield and then on it's to to Monadnock and beyond
Never heard it called the Triple M..... but that's as good a name as any.

Welcome to the group Steve, glad you could make it.

Hey everyone, so I found some info regarding the Triple M Trail, and I'm not the only one who calls it that ;) . It's funny how this trail popped into my head the other day, as I hadn't heard anything about it in quite some time. Wouldn't ya know it, it's one step away from becoming the next and 9th National Scenic Trail.

Well, it's official, the Triple M (New England Scenic Trail), The Arizona Trail & The Pacific Northwest Trail are now all National Scenic Trails. Congrats to all who've supported this!

I remember reading a couple of years ago about someone having to make a mad dash across the Mass Pike while hiking on the M-M
Gate locked, access blocked.... don't remember.
Maybe they'll fix that now
