Howdy:
I am a 41 year old experienced hiker from China, Maine. I have climbed around 27 4,000 footers in N.H. but I have slowed down because I have a large family (5 girls, 1 boy) and because of the distance it takes to get there from here. My kids and I hike a lot in the Camden Hills, Grafton Notch, and Rangely Lake. I also have extensive hiking experience in Massachusetts(I'm from the Lowell area) as well as Vermont.
Recently, my doctor told me I had arthritis in my right big toe as well as a large bone spur. I was hoping to connect with like minded people as well as hikers who may also be suffering from arthritis. I could use some suggestions. It doesn't hurt all the time but it seems to flare up randomly.

Hey Scott
I don't have arthritis, but I'm old and fat if that helps...
