My son and I are heading for the Maine North Woods in the morning. We plan to spend three weeks. We'll have my truck so we have plenty of supplies. We've been planning this since March. We're bring our canoe and plan several paddle trips. We have several hiking trips planned and my son, who is an avid fisherman, figures to deal with the fish. He is 15, so I'm going to let him do some driving in some of the more remote spots where we won't run into logging trucks. This is our fifth year taking summer trips and our third trip to the Allagash/North Woods area. We're back August 22.

Best of luck with the trip. The weather looks like it may be finally breaking, so let's hope it stays that way for a bit. I'm expecting one hell of a trip report when you get back, since it's only fair to let those who are stuck in civilization to live vicariously through you for a bit <_< .
