This might be a dumb question, but being a beginner, I'm curious - are there cairns on top of all the 4000 footers?

I ask mainly because I know a lot of the peaks (Willey, East Osceola, etc.) are heavily tree lined and possibly difficult to distinguish if you've reached the true summit or not.

If you are asking if there are cairns identifying the summits of each 4000 footer, the answer is no. Most of them have something to identify the summit such as a cairn or a sign post but there are a few that don't have anything other than a rock.
