I know this is an intense hike, making it a 2 day venture would be nice if someone would like to come along. Unfortunately I am a student in Lowell and have no vechile Anyone is the area up for maybe just even a day hike?

Just did it yesterday, it wasn't my limit, but apparently close, as I am still done in today :)

I went Valley Way in and out, figuring it would be less harsh particularly on the way out.

Actually it seemed more difficult than 3 bonds in a day, but that was 3 years ago and memories do wane.

I certainly know I am not ready for a one day presi-traverse, maybe next year

Congratulations
That was one of my favorite hike of the 48 4000 footers. My wife and I did the Valley Way up and the Air Line down.
Our favorite was the Bonds as an over nighter.
