Apparently the winter hiking gear is coming out of the attic much sooner than usual this year. I had to double check the calendar yesterday when I saw the flakes flying. :huh:

Thinking about asking Santa for a pair of snowshoes. Any advice out there?

Santa brought me some snowshoes this year for xmas...no more having to borrow my dads!

I plan on a day hike to Savoy State Forest(Spruce Hill 2566ft)on Jan 12th.

Hope there is lots of the white stuff.
